SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador – Alianza announced Tuesday the signing of Christopher Ramirez to a two-year contract.
The 26-year-old makes the move from Atletico Marte, where he spent the last six seasons, only interrupted by a loan spell with the USA’s Orange County Blues FC in 2015.
"I feel very happy to be at Alianza FC, especially knowing it is a great team for its history and fans,” said Ramirez. “I feel committed to the Alianza fans and I'm sure that I will give all my effort in order to have a place on the field.”
The 5-foot-7 forward, who scored four goals in the 2016 Clausura, has been a consistent performer throughout his career and is expected to strengthen the Albos for their second-ever Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League appearance later this year.
