PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti– For AS Capoise of Haiti, there is only one result that it has in mind when it takes the field to face Suriname’s SV Robinhood in the second leg of its 2019 Scotiabank Concacaf League Preliminary Round series on Wednesday night at the Stade Sylvia Cator in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
“There is no pressure on the players, tomorrow we have to get a good result and we must win tomorrow,” said AS Capoise Head Coach Joseph Roudy in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
“For us there is no question, we will win the game tomorrow,” added Roudy.
Echoing that sentiment was AS Capoise captain Michel Huguens.
Following the scoreless draw last week in Suriname in the first leg, a victory is the only result that would guarantee a spot in the 2019 SCL Round of 16 versus Club Atletico Independiente of Panama.
“Normally 0-0 in the away game is not a good result, but at home it is a must win game,” said Huguens.
