GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala – Comunicaciones of Guatemala will be seeking to summon some magic on Thursday night when they face Honduran club Olimpia in the second leg of the 2019 Scotiabank Concacaf League quarterfinals at the Estadio Doroteo Guamuch Flores in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
The Catrachos emerged with a 2-0 win in the first leg thanks to a pair of goals in the first six minutes, but another full 90 minutes await in the Guatemalan capital.
For the Comunicaciones attack to get clicking, Gerardo Gordillo will need to be in the middle of it and add to his two-goal tally in the competition.
The Chapines have won both home matches thus far in the 2019 SCL and will try to repeat that feat against the 2017 SCL champions.
Olimpia have adopted a share the wealth attacking mindset in the 2019 SCL, as six different players have accounted for all six goals.
Among the dangermen that Comunicaciones will have to watch is winger Junior Lacayo and striker Jerry Bengtson, who each have scored in the tournament.

- With a 2-0 victory by Comunicaciones FC, the match will be decided in a penalty shootout.
- If Comunicaciones FC wins by a difference of +3 goal; Comunicaciones FC will advance to the next stage of the competition.
- Note: The winner of this match will play against Club Atletico Independiente or Saprissa in the Semifinals.
