HEREDIA, Costa Rica – History will be at stake when Nicaraguan side Walter Ferretti and Tauro of Panama clash in the second leg of the 2018 Scotiabank Concacaf League quarterfinals on Thursday night at the Estadio Eladio Rosabal Cordero in Heredia, Costa Rica.

Tauro earned a 3-1 win in the first leg last week in Panama on the strength of goals from Jesus Gonzalez, Armando Polo and Edwin Aguilar, while Bruno De Morais tallied for Walter Ferretti.

For the Canaleros, they can clinch a first ever Concacaf semifinal with nothing worse than a one-goal loss on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Walter Ferretti is looking to become the first Nicaraguan side to advance past two rounds in a Concacaf tournament.
