List of qualified teams for the 2019 Scotiabank Concacaf League
Following the results over the weekend in Central America, the places for the 2019 Scotiabank Concacaf League from both El Salvador and Guatemala have been determined.

MIAMI, Florida Following the results over the weekend in Central America, the final places for the 2019 Scotiabank Concacaf League from both Honduras and Panama have been determined.

From Panama, San Francisco will begin its 2019 SCL campaign in the Preliminary Round, while Tauro and Club Atletico Independiente have slotted into the Round of 16.

In Honduras, both Motagua and Olimpia have sealed places in the Round of 16.

Below is a list of teams qualified for the 2019 Scotiabank Concacaf League Preliminary Round and Round of 16.

Preliminary Round:

CAN 2: Forge FC

After winning the Canadian Premier League, Forge FC became the first participating team in the Concacaf League.

CRC 3: Deportivo Saprissa

The Monstruo Morado has qualified for its first SCL as the non-champion club with the most accumulated points in the 2018-19 Costa Rican season.

HON 3: CD Marathon

Marathon will feature in its second SCL as the non-finalist club with the most accumulated points in the 2018-19 Honduran season.

PAN 3: San Francisco FC

San Francisco will compete in the SCL as Panama’s non-champion club with the most accumulated points in the 2018-19 season.

SLV 2: Santa Tecla FC

Santa Tecla will be competing in its second SCL as El Salvador’s 2018 Apertura champion and the club with the second-most accumulated points in the 2018-19 season.

SLV 3: Alianza FC

Alianza returns to the SCL for the first time since the inaugural 2017 edition as the non-champion club with the most accumulated points in El Salvador’s 2018-19 season.

GUA 2: Antigua GFC

Antigua GFC will make its SCL debut on the strength of being Guatemala’s 2019 Clausura champion with the second-most accumulated points in the 2018-19 season.

GUA 3: Comunicaciones FC

One of Guatemala’s most decorated clubs, Comunicaciones will play in its first SCL as the 2018 Apertura runner-up with the most accumulated points in the 2018-19 season.

NCA 2: Real Esteli

One of the giants of Nicaraguan football, Real Esteli makes its second SCL appearance as either the 2019 Apertura runner-up or as the 2019 Clausura champion with the second-most accumulated points during the 2018-19 season.

BLZ 1: Belmopan Bandits

Belmopan Bandits will make its third appearance in the SCL as the 2018 Apertura champion with the most accumulated points in Belize’s 2018-19 season.

CCC 3: AS Capoise (HAI)

By virtue of its third-place finish at the 2019 Flow Concacaf Caribbean Club Championship, AS Capoise of Haiti as qualified for its first SCL.

 

CCC 4: SV Robinhood (SUR)

After winning the 2019 Concacaf Caribbean Club Shield, Robinhood of Suriname defeated 2019 FCCCC fourth-place side Real Hope of Haiti in a penalty shootout to punch its ticket to its first SCL.

Round of 16:

CRC 1: AD San Carlos

San Carlos will make its SCL debut as the 2019 Clausura champion with the most accumulated points in the 2018-19 Costa Rican season.

CRC 2: CS Herediano

The 2018 SCL champions will be looking to repeat as the 2018 Apertura champion with the second-most accumulated points in Costa Rica’s 2018-19 season.

HON 1: Motagua

2018 SCL finalist Motagua qualifies as the 2018 Apertura and 2019 Clausura champion with the most accumulated points in the 2018-19 Honduran season.

HON 2: CD Olimpia

2017 SCL champion Olimpia has qualified as the 2018 Apertura and 2019 Clausura runner-up with the second-most accumulated points in the 2018-19 Honduran season.

PAN 1: Tauro FC

Tauro FC reaches the 2019 SCL as the champion (2018 Apertura) with the most accumulated points in the 2018-19 Panamanian season.

PAN 2: Club Atletico Independiente

Club Atletico Independiente has qualified as the champion (2019 Clausura) with the second-most accumulated points in the 2018-19 Panamanian season.

SLV 1: CD Aguila

Aguila is back in the SCL for the first time since 2017 by virtue of being El Salvador’s 2019 Clausura champion with the most accumulated points in the 2018-19 season.

GUA 1: CD Guastatoya

Guastatoya has qualified for the 2019 SCL as the 2018 Apertura champion with the most accumulated points in the Guatemalan 2018-19 season.

NCA 1: Managua FC

Managua FC will make its SCL debut as the 2018 Nicaraguan Apertura champion with the most accumulated points in the 2018-19 season.

CCC 2: Waterhouse (JAM)

By virtue of its second-place finish at the 2019 Flow Concacaf Caribbean Club Championship, Waterhouse of Jamaica has qualified for its first SCL.
