SCL Nicaragua: Real Esteli tops Apertura table

ESTELI, Nicaragua – Real Esteli completed the second week of play in the 2017 Nicaraguan Apertura in sole possession of first place thanks to Saturday’s 3-1 win over Real Madriz at the Estadio Independencia.

Diriangen and Juventus are next in the standings on four points each.

Marlon Barrios’ lunging left-footer gave the visitor a 1-0 lead in the 10th-minute, but the Tren del Norte struck for three unanswered goals to improve to 2W-0D-0L.
