PANAMA CITY, Panama– The 2018 Scotiabank Concacaf League quarterfinals continue on Thursday with an intriguing first leg between Tauro of Panama and Walter Ferretti of Nicaragua at the Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City, Panama.

Tauro topped Honduran side Real Espana 2-1 on aggregate in the previous round, while Walter Ferretti required penalty kicks (4-1) to eliminate Club Franciscain of Martinique after a 1-1 draw on aggregate.

Fresh off its run to the 2018 Scotiabank Concacaf Campions League quarterfinals, Tauro is looking to make a swift return to the SCCL by winning the second edition of the SCL.

Yet the Canalero side will have to deal with a motivated Walter Ferretti team that is seeking to become the first club from Nicaragua to advance past two rounds in a Concacaf tournament.
